Newly appointed senior executives to lead SupportSpace’s world-class customer service support and software development operations.
Netanya, Israel – March 8, 2007: SupportSpace, an online consumer tech-support startup, announced today that it has appointed two senior executives to lead its customer service support and software development divisions. Micky Margalit has been appointed Chief Support Officer, leading SupportSpace’s customer care operations and Doron Gill has been appointed Vice President of Research and Development, managing technology development for the company. Both appointments have been effective since January 2007.
SupportSpace is building the first community based online consumer service for tech support, in order to provide a reliable, user-friendly support platform for online users.
The appointments represent a new phase of company growth for SupportSpace as they near their launch in the US. With the development of its online Support Management and Delivery Platform in an advanced stage, SupportSpace is expanding its team of industry experts to ensure smooth operations and a solid foothold within the industry.
With vast experience spanning 22 years, Micky Margalit has held international executive positions in the computer and communications industries, setting up and managing customer service operations in leading corporations such as Sony, Panasonic and Digital Equipment Corporation, in addition to building a global network of service centers in China, Korea, Singapore and the U.S. for AG Associates.
Micky has also served as Vice President of Customer Services at Cellcom, the first digital mobile network in Israel. At Cellcom, Micky built a support organization comprised of thousands of agents that gained the reputation as one of the leading customer service organizations in the communications arena in Israel.
Doron Gill is a technology expert with over 20 years of experience in software development management. Prior to joining SupportSpace, Doron was General Manager of Mercado Software, where he managed the company’s Technology Center, and Senior Vice President of Research and Development for Jacada. Doron has also served as Executive Vice President of Research and Development and General Manager for Gizmoz, formerly known as Zapa Digital Arts, in addition to holding a variety of development management positions with Scitex Corporation
