Gigaspaces Seeks Channel Partners To Participate in Growing Worldwide Opportunity
San Diego, CA – March 07, 2007 – GigaSpaces Technologies, the enterprise infrastructure software company that is revolutionizing the architecture of distributed applications, announced today it is launching the GigaSpaces Partner Advantage Program for value-added resellers, system integrators and consulting firms. The program allows channel partners to grow their revenue opportunities by providing their customers with solutions for applications with extremely demanding performance and scalability requirements.
Through the Partner Advantage Program, GigaSpaces provides its channel partners with sales and technical training, marketing materials, joint go-to-market activities and deep technical support, allowing them to accompany customer projects using GigaSpaces software from design to production and beyond. The program is being launched in the Americas and Europe.
“From our discussions with existing and prospective channel partners, we believe that this partner program will be particularly appealing to VARs and SIs of all sizes,” said Geva Perry, GigaSpaces’ chief marketing officer. “We are a product company – and intend to stay that way, but our product is software infrastructure. From a partner point-of-view that means that our product is being used in application development initiatives, which are often part of large mission-critical projects. This creates a siginficant opportunity for providing design, development and other professional services to GigaSpaces customers.”
Two Levels of Partner Participation
The GigaSpaces Partner Advantage Program features two levels of participation, as either an Associate or Premier partner.
The Associate Program is for referral partners and consists of value-added resellers and regional system integrators that sell solutions to small and mid-sized organizations.
The Premier Partner level is for total solution providers that sell solutions to mid-to-large tier organizations. Premier Partners focus on delivering IT professional services along with selling hardware and/or software solutions.
As part of its focus on channel sales, GigaSpaces said that Susan Thomas joined GigaSpaces as Director of Channels, dedicated to recruiting and supporting channel partners in the Americas. A similar position will soon be filled for EMEA.
“As director of channels, it is great to join a company that sees the value of building a strong partner network and providing the resources to make them successful,” Thomas said. Explainng the company’s channel strategy, Thomas added: “We’ll be putting a strong emphasis on recruiting regional and industry-focused small- and medium-sized firms. But we also realize that signing-up partners is just the first step. We are committed to provide the necessary resources – people and money – to make our partners successful.”
GigaSpaces is officially launching its Partner Advantage Program at the CMP Xchange Solution Provider Conference, being held in San Diego, March 7-10, 2007.
