Yokne’am, Israel, January 2, 2004–Oplus Technologies, Ltd., a leading provider of innovative system-on-chip and software solutions for digital displays, today announced that it will show its full portfolio of display and video processor ICs in invitation-only meetings during the upcoming International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, NV, January 8-11, 2004. Oplus’ CES meetings will focus on the most recent addition to Oplus’ offering, the Moneta-203 line of enhanced-video processor chips for multimedia digital displays. The Company will also present its new Raphaela reference design for HDTV-ready flat panel TVs, and its established Rembrandta-102 and Matissea-1 chips.

Over the past few months, it has opened a US sales office and added staff, particularly in R&D and customer support. Oplus will soon open sales and customer support offices in Taiwan and Korea.
“Based on the excellent response to date, we expect our CES meetings to generate strong interest in our new chips and in the added value that all Oplus solutions bring to digital display products,” said Yair Alpern, CEO of Oplus Technologies. “With the impressive growth in our sales, numerous recent design wins, and the continuing confidence our investors have shown in our company and strategy, it is clear that Oplus is effectively overcoming the challenges of becoming a world leader in digital display processing solutions.”
New Product Demos
At CES 2004, Oplus will present exclusive demos of the Monet-203 line of chips. The Monet-203 line features three chips, tailored to each of the three major digital display segments: mainstream flat panel TVs (LCD-TVs, PDP-TVs, and RPTVs), advanced flat panel TVs and multi-function monitors, and crossover and business projectors.
The company will also leverage its meetings in Las Vegas to demonstrate its innovative Raphael reference design for HDTV-ready, feature-rich flat panel televisions. Raphael is a hardware and software reference design with a complete production-ready manufacturing kit. Based on Monet-203, Raphael delivers superb image quality and extensive, fully customizable functionality, while ensuring cost effective products through compact design and a highly affordable bill of materials.
