Wavion and Leadcom announced a Cooperation Agreement for Africa and Latin America

Yoqne’am, Israel, November 9, 2011 – Wavion™, a global leader in Wi-Fi solutions for service
providers, governments and enterprises, and Leadcom Integrated Solutions, a global telecom
system integrator, announced today a strategic cooperation agreement for Africa and Latin
America.

Wavion, a Wi-Fi technology leader, offers complete end-to-end Wi-Fi solutions for operators,
governments and enterprises in metro and rural areas. The solutions are based on Wavion Base
Stations (WBSn) at 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 700 MHz, and include access, backhaul, CPEs, NMS,
service provisioning and billing. Leveraging 802.11n MIMO with unique two-way Beamforming
and powerful interference immunity, the WBSn family provides superior coverage and capacity,
thus enabling service providers, communities and enterprises to deliver high quality service while
reducing CAPEX and OPEX by more than 50%.

“We see a growing demand for Wi-Fi in our markets“, said Ofer Ahiraz Leadcom CEO. “A growing
number of our customers, telecom operators are asking us for Wi-Fi solutions for applications
such as wireless broadband access, hot spots and cellular offloading. With this agreement we will
be able to offer operators best carrier-grade Wi-Fi solutions with high quality of service and lowest
cost per sq-km”.

“Leadcom is an excellent partner for Wavion in Africa and Latin America markets”, said Zeev
Farkash, Wavion’s EVP of sales. “Leadcom’s local presence and vast integration experience
enable Wavion to offer a comprehensive solution with local support to operators in these
emerging markets”.
