GigaSpaces’ Cloudify is Verified as Citrix Ready

GigaSpaces Technologies, a provider of software middleware for deployment, management and scaling of mission-critical applications on cloud environments, today announced that Cloudify has been verified as Citrix Ready®. The Citrix Ready program helps customers identify third-party solutions that are recommended to enhance virtualization, networking and cloud computing solutions from Citrix. Cloudify completed a rigorous verification process to ensure compatibility with Citrix CloudPlatform™ powered by Apache CloudStack to automate the installation and management of multi-tier applications on CloudPlatform.
Cloudify’s open-source cloud orchestration software platform provides deployment, management and automatic scaling of complex, enterprise applications on the cloud. Cloudify automates the entire application lifecycle, significantly minimizing the complexity of managing applications on the cloud.
Cloudify provides Citrix CloudPlatform users a simple tool with which to deploy, monitor, heal and scale their complex applications by automating their processes in the cloud. The combined solution enables users to automate and orchestrate multi-tier application deployments on top of CloudStack, as well manage and monitor post-deployment processes.
In addition, through Cloudify’s abstraction layer, Cloudify makes it possible for Citrix CloudPlatform users to easily build a hybrid cloud solution between CloudStack and other clouds for business continuity, disaster recovery, and cloud-bursting scenarios. This means that CloudPlatform users can extend their Cloudify deployments to other environments, including high-performance environments, such as bare-metal and even non-virtualized environments.
